• Semiconductor Integrated Circuits Layout-Design Act, 2000: We respect and protect the intellectual property rights of semiconductor layout designs, ensuring no infringement of third-party IP rights.
• Export Control Regulations (SCOMET): As a VLSI entity dealing with dual-use technologies, we strictly adhere to the Special Chemicals, Organisms, Materials, Equipment and Technologies (SCOMET) guidelines for export compliance.

3. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Policy

In the VLSI domain, IP protection is paramount. The Company ensures:

• All RTL designs, GDSII files, and verification scripts created for clients remain their exclusive property upon handover.
• Internal IP cores used in projects are licensed appropriately.
• Employees are bound by strict IP assignment agreements to prevent unauthorized data leakage.

4. Data Localization & Security

In compliance with Indian government directives for strategic electronics sectors:

• Critical defense and aerospace related design data is stored on localized servers within India.
• We implement industry-standard firewall and intrusion detection systems to safeguard our EDA infrastructure.

5. Government Tenders & Procurement

For all government semiconductor projects and tenders (e.g., DLI Scheme, SPECS), Elecment Design Fab affirms its eligibility and adherence to:

• Make in India (DPIIT) Policy: We prioritize domestic value addition in our design and manufacturing processes.
• General Financial Rules (GFR) 2017: Compliance in all procurement and bidding processes.
